On 23 October 2009 the local Palestinian nonviolent community, supported by Israeli and international peace activists, including CPT's Hebron Team, erected a tent on Palestinian-owned-and-farmed land across from Chazon David, an Israeli settlement outpost slated for evacuation by the Israeli Defense Ministry.

Pray for Kurdish refugees who are calling for a negotiated end to the conflict between Turkey and the Kurdish Workers’ Party (PKK).  Last month, 26 refugees, including two Mothers for Peace, crossed from Iraq into Turkey on a peace march.
