HEBRON URGENT ACTION: SEND PACKETS OF SOIL TO ISRAELI
GOVERNMENT

Following our successful "Buckets of Soil" action in the Beqa'a valley east
of Hebron, CPT, the Israeli Committee against House Demolitions, and the
Palestinian Land Defense Committee urge our supporters around the world to
continue
sending the message that Land Confiscation Is Not Peace.

While the Israeli government talks peace with Palestine, it continues to
confiscate more and more Palestinian land. While troop pullbacks are
postponed, settlements continue to expand, destroying Palestinian farms and
creating facts
on the ground. Even as talks on the Final Status Framework Agreement
continue, a new neighborhood and gas station are being built for Kiryat
Arba on top of hundreds of dunams of
Palestinian farmland.

*In "sympathy" with the Israeli government's greed for land, we ask you to
"help" them by bringing buckets of soil from your homes to an Israeli
Embassy or Consulate in your area.

*If you are unable to present your soil in person, we ask that you mail a
packet of earth. Ask Israeli officials how they reconcile talking peace
with Palestine while, at the same time, confiscating more land. State your
objection to the Israeli government's expropriation of far more land than it
has turned over to the Palestinians under the Wye and Sharm al-Sheikh
agreements. Demand that no more Palestinian
lives, homes and lands be sacrificed to the annexation of territory which
Barak has labeled "peace."
