PRAYERS FOR PEACEMAKERS, Wednesday, March 20, 2002

Pray for residents of the Palestinian village of Beit Ummar, north of
Hebron, who face continuing harassment by Israeli soldiers. The village
has been closed off by roadblocks for months; soldiers have invaded homes
in the aftermath of unrelated incidents, kicking in doors and
shooting. Christian Peacemaker Teams will begin a two-month
violence-deterrence presence in the village the end of next week.
