CHICAGO: Kindy, Goode complete 193 mile faith walk from Chicago to Peoria

On the evening of Friday, July 12, CPTers Michael Goode and Cliff Kindy
limped into Peoria, Illinois, completing on foot the 193 mile journey begun
at the Boeing's Headquarters in Chicago on Saturday July 6.

Wearing vests that read "Boeing Caterpillar" on one side and "Children
before profits" on the other, the two men handed out fliers explaining how
Boeing, through its sales of Apache attack helicopters to Israel and
Caterpillar, through its sales of bulldozers designed to demolish
Palestinian homes, help escalate the Israeli-Palestinian conflict which
kills both Israeli and Palestinian civilians.

Averaging twenty-seven miles a day, both men developed severe blisters early
on from walking on the hot asphalt.
