Chicago: CPT November Delegation to Palestine and Israel
Oct. 23, 2002
Palestinian and Israeli human rights workers are urgently calling for
international eyes and ears for the region. Christian Peacemaker Teams
(CPT) invites applications for a delegation traveling to the area November
19 to December 1, 2002. CPT's long-term presence in Hebron has expanded to
include a team in the nearby village of Beit Ummar and a Rapid Response
Team based in Jerusalem that can travel quickly to the sites of violent
incidents. November's delegation will meet with representatives of Israeli
and Palestinian groups, then join CPT work of violence deterrence,
documentation, and public witness.
