CPT INTERNATIONAL:  Call for expressions of interest in and nominations for CPT Delegations and Administrative Coordinator

Christian Peacemaker Teams invites expressions of interest the full-time position of Delegations and Administrative Coordinator.  The person in this position will

Provide leadership support to CPT’s delegation program.  CPT delegations form essential advocacy links between communities experiencing violence with concerned individuals and groups, and offer participants first-hand experiences of CPT's on-the-ground faith-based, active peacemaking.  Includes working with CPT teams to schedule delegations, recruiting delegates and delegation leaders, facilitating pre-delegation orientation and post delegation debriefings, administering details such as booking flights and finances (50-60%).

Take part in CPT’s Chicago-based administrative coordination.  Exact roles will be determined by how the appointee’s gifts mesh with those of others working in CPT administration.  Likely to include some elements of welcoming people to the Chicago office, data base management and communications (30-35%).

Be a CPTer and a member of the CPT Support Team.  Support Team shares support for CPT’s structure from a variety of places across the continents.  Members of the Chicago- based part of that team work in close collaboration. Opportunities exist to dip into CPT project work (5-10%).

Location: Chicago.

Timing:  Expressions of interest/nominations no later than 19 March.  Full application materials due 30 March.  Position to start as soon as preferred candidate is available.  After confirmed, appointment will be for a period of three years.

Compensation: Need-based stipend, full health coverage, and incredibly meaningful work within a team of kind, gutsy and committed peacemakers.

Contact Carol Rose, CPT Co-Director, at carolr@cpt.org <mailto:carolr@cpt.org>  with expressions of interest, and nominations.  She will respond with application materials and a more complete job description.
