Las delegaciones se reunirán con la Iglesia, con defensores de los derechos humanos y con organizadores de la justicia social en Barrancabermeja, ciudad industrial de la región del Magdalena Medio donde ECAP ha permanecido por tiempo completo desde el 2001. Por otra parte los delegados pasaran varios días en el campo donde las comunidades han sido objeto de ataques y amenazas por parte de diversos grupos armados.

The Kurds of northern Iraq faced discrimination, terror and death under the regime of Saddam Hussein. After the 1991 Gulf War, they gained a measure of autonomy and safety under U.S. protection. In Colombia, an insurgency-counterinsurgency war has left over 200,000 people dead since 1964 and displaced over three million others from their homes. CPT's Colombia delegations will meet with church, human rights and social justice organizers in Bogotá,  then spend several days in the countryside where communities have been subject to attack and threats by various armed groups.

The latest successful mass popular nonviolence participation in Tunisia and Egypt has brought the Arab world and the region lots of hope. Although the situation for many Palestinians living in the West Bank, Gaza, and Israel remains grave, the Palestinian and Israeli nonviolence activists continue to stand firm in their steadfastness. They continue to build a nonviolence movement of hope, resilience and active love.
