Claire Evans is CPT's Delegation and Personnel Coordinator. She holds Bachelor's degrees from Michigan State University (1974) and Eastern Mennonite University (1990), and a Masters in Library Science from the University of Maryland (1979). An interest in world hunger issues led to her leaving a career as a librarian at the University of Maryland and studying International Agriculture at Eastern Mennonite University. She was part of the Catholic Worker movement for 7 years, serving at houses in Duluth, Minnesota and Norfolk, Virginia before joining Christian Peacemaker Teams (CPT) full time in 1998. She has spent time on CPT projects in Chiapas, Hebron, and Colombia.
