Rachel graduated from the University of Kansas with a degree in Spanish, and a focus on French. She spent over 4 years working to erradicate domestic and sexual violence before joining CPT full time in Colombia in 2007. In addition to peacemaking and sharing about her CPT experiences, Rachel loves being in nature, communities working for social justice, chocolate, reading, and traveling.
