Kathleen O'Malley

Kathleen O'Malley is a psychotherapist practicing in Albuquerque, NM who also does international peace work with CPT with whom she has traveled to Irag and Palestine. In 2007 she traveled to Iran as part of the Fellowship of Reconciliation. She leads non violence trainings to groups interested in exploring responses to internal violence as well as in the world around us. As a psychologist one of her areas of experience is working with people who have suffered trauma. She has also facilitated critical incident debriefing sessions.

Jerry Stein

Jerry Stein is a retired Catholic pastor, having pastored mostly rural churches. He was a college chaplain for two years each at Colorado State University and St. Mary of the Plains College. Jerry served six years at St. Francis of Assisi parish near Amarillo, which includes Pantex, where all US nuclear weapons are assembled. He has been on the Peace Farm Board, which owns property across from Pantex since near its beginning in 1986. Jerry has been involved in ecumenical affairs for many years in Kansas and Texas.

Carol Rose

Carol is the Co-Director of CPT, a poet, and pastor. Carol was part of the formation of the Colombia project who regularly served on that project until becoming Co-Director. Since that time she has also served on site in Iraq , Palestine , Arizona and Kenora. She is the facilitator/presenter for the Biblical Non-violence portion of the CPT Core Training. An active peacemaker since the late 1970's. Carol worked with Mennonite Voluntary Service with refugees from Central America in Dallas , Texas in the early 1980's.

Peggy Gish

Peggy Gish has been working in Iraq with Christian Peacemaker Teams since October 2002, and was in Iraq before, during, and after the 2003 war. Gish is a grandmother, farmer, community mediator, conflict management trainer, and former co-director of the Appalachian Peace and Justice Network in Athens, Ohio. Her book Iraq: a Journey of Hope and Peace (Herald Press, 2004) tells the story of her experiences and CPT's work in Iraq.

Gish is a member of New Covenant Fellowship, a Christian communal farm near Athens, Ohio.

Maureen Jack

Maureen trained with CPT in January 2003. She spent two weeks in Baghdad with CPT in February 2003, just before the war, and then two months there that summer. In 2004 she spent three months with CPT's Hebron team. In 2005 she returns to both teams. Maureen lives in Scotland but is prepared to travel anywhere in the UK (or beyond!) She illustrates her talks with slides.

Bob Holmes

Bob is a Catholic priest/teacher, a member of the Congregation of St. Basil (Basilian), who has been active in social justice ministry for many years both with the Toronto Catholic Worker and as the Basilian Coordinator for Social Justice Concerns. In January 2000 Bob trained with the Christian Peacemaker Teams and for three years served as full-time CPTer in Canada, Israel/Palestine, Chiapas, Vieques, Colombia and Iraq.
