has pastored several churches in the Chruch of the Brethren and is an ordained
minister in that denomination. He has been in the reserve corp of CPT since January
of 1999 and has served in Chiapas, Hebron, Oneida and Arizona.

John Lynes
John
was born into a Jewish family in the UK in 1928, but has been a Quaker for the
past 50 years. He worked mainly as an engineer in lighting research, and also
as a university lecturer in architecture. He has been involved in peace and
justice activities in the UK for 60 years. He has worked in Israel-Palestine
as a Quaker Observer attached to CPT (2002-3) and as an Ecumenical Accompanier
(2003). He joined CPT full-time in 2004 and has served in Hebron.

Maureen Jack
Maureen
trained with CPT in January 2003. She spent two weeks in Baghdad with
CPT in February 2003, just before the war, and then two months there that summer.
In 2004 she spent three months with CPT's Hebron team. In 2005
she returns to both teams. Maureen lives in Scotland but is prepared to
travel anywhere in the UK (or beyond!) She illustrates her talks with
slides.

David Janzen
David has been working part time with Christian Peacemakers since 2002, frequently
with the Hebron project. David is also co-chair of the London Friends
of Sabeel group (an interdenominational group working towards a peaceful and
just solution in Palestine).

Bob Holmes
Bob is a Catholic priest/teacher, a member of the Congregation of St. Basil
(Basilian), who has been active in social justice ministry for many years both
with the Toronto Catholic Worker and as the Basilian Coordinator for Social
Justice Concerns. In January 2000 Bob trained with the Christian Peacemaker
Teams and for three years served as full-time CPTer in Canada, Israel/Palestine,
Chiapas, Vieques, Colombia and Iraq. He is currently (2005) a member of the
